“I truly believe that self-care, self- compassion, self-expression and self-acceptance should be just as mandatory as breathing, moving, drinking water and eating food are. Unfortunately, for some of us, we weren’t taught the importance of these skills as children, we lived in a society that told us from a young age, that who we are, or what we looked like just wasn’t good enough, or negative experiences, trauma and oppression have stolen those aspects from us. That is what I am here for. To help you reclaim these God-given rights and the safety you once felt within your body, and to help restore your connection to that place where self-compassion lives deep inside. To remind you that you are AWESOME, flaws and all, and that your past, your traumas, disabilities or illnesses do not have to define you. Old stories can be re-written once we re-align and re-define our values and the person whom we want to be, despite our past. You are not your problems. You are not your medical diagnosis or your past. You are simply, YOU!”
